It was Valentine's day, Luckily it was our day off for Jorge and I. We packed out bag and head to Lake Geneva, Wisconsin which took us only 1.30 minutes.
Lake Geneva is a resort city on Geneva Lake in southeastern Wisconsin. This little charming town has 7,696 people only, but they have so much to offer.This town well known about water activity in the summer and also ski in the winter.

Walking around the lake
We arrived at the hotel ( Harbor Shores on Lake Geneva)around 3 pm. The Hotel is opposite to the lake, less than 400 ft. The lake is frozen and white. We definitely love the location of the hotel. After we drop off our bags, we rush out to see the lake right the way. The lake is so beautiful. I can see the vans, the truck parked in the frozen lake. The fisherman fishing down there.

We walk around the little town and found it so charming. I believe in summer it might be busier and beautiful in a different way. We stop by the local coffee shop to warm our self up. (Avant Bicycle &cafe) The 45F was a shame because it feels like 30F.
We walked to the frozen lake and hung around there. The cold was too much to handle so we walked back to the hotel getting ready for our dinner.

We Did not plan where to eat that night, as a small town it was hard to find one, but finally, we got the place at Next Door Pub & Pizzeria
The food was great !! They well know of pizza, burger, and pasta. Jorge has pineapple pizza and it was good. I had pasta it was a good choice.
After dinner, we tried to find a place to hang like the nightclub but it seems so dead on that night so we head back to the hotel get some rest for ski tomorrow.

Next day before heading to Grand Geneva ski resort. We stopped by local coffee shop opposite to Starbuck coffee called Geneva Java. The coffee shop is really cute like a grandma house. The coffee was good to start the day

The Ski resort on Grand Geneva is wonderful. They have 2 for one on Thursday. We spent only 60$ for two including ski rental and the lift ticket. for al day. What a good deal. We loved the great service over there as well. The staff was friendly and helpful.
Skiing is becoming my favorite sport in winter. I was so afraid at first, but after learning how to break and balance, it is fun to ski all the time.
That day wasn't cold at all, so it was great to ski. I went skiing last Christmas and it was too cold to enjoy the outdoors. Overall we gotta love our day at Grand Geneva. Skiing was so much fun. The hills for ski are great and easy for the beginner like us. It is such a great outdoor activity and good for family activity as well. We definitely come back soon.
