Where to eat in Puerto Vallarta

One my favorite place was Casa Tradicional cocina mexicana. (Hidalgo 335, Proyecto escola, Centro, 48300 Puerto Vallarta, Jal., Mexico) So I decided to take my husband to a traditional Mexican restaurant near the cathedral for his bday and to be honest I was impressed. This restaurant was very cute. We experienced like a traditional Mexican house and server was the owner of the house.

Prices were high compared with other local restaurants around but when the food arrived that didn’t matter. Attention on this place was superb, all the waiter even though it was late already were so attentive and the whole time smiling. Every time someone orders a fajita they will do a fire show but they were happy doing over and over.

My hubby and I were in shock as soon we put what we ordered in our mouth. We live in Chicago so we can find Mexican food every single corner in the city but this was beyond amazing. We got Carne asada which has breaded cheese in a green sauce. OMG, it was delicious. We also got Molcajete which has chorizo, shrimp, and a red sauce, also a chicken fajita.

We couldn’t walk out because how amazing were those plates and the portion. We also ordered also 2 margaritas that were so strong that we couldn’t finish them and usually we love to drink. To be honest, at the very beginning my husband almost walks out because of the prices but we glad we stopped by!

The Next one you should not miss is Pancho's tacos. (Calle Basilio Badillo # 162 | Zona Romantica casi Esquina Olas Altas., Puerto Vallarta 48380, Mexico )

It took us (2 people) 45 minutes to get a seat. The food was delicious and the tacos were all great and tasty. Though it is a cheap place to go for a meal. The service of the waiters was better than expected from a low tier place. We love the pork and beef taco so much. Also, the Pacific beer is so good along with taco. Definitely come back.

My last one that you guys should give it a try is Langosta Loca (Fco. I Madero and The Malecon, Puerto Vallarta, Mexico) The restaurant is next to the beach. We love the atmosphere. You can hear the wave and the breeze. We recommend Pacific beer and Garlic fried red snapper. The fish just so crispy and the smell of garlic will hunt you till tomorrow. The seafood sauce they got for us was amazing.

We also tried local street food. We recommend taco stand as well. There are so many places we need to go back and try them all

The first day we had Octopus-taco for the first time.

this taco place was the first meal we had

They smell so good and make you feel hungry all day long.

During the day we walked around the town. We discovered a local taco place again. This little taco place was busy with 3 seats only. The smell of homemade cooking made us so ready for it. The seats are on the sidewalk. It is fun to sit down eating while people just keep walking pass by your table. They also have a homemade drink which I had Roselle juice. It was so refreshing.

For those who miss American breakfast, you can check this place out Roberto's bar cafe deli gelato.(Guerrero 123, Centro, 48300 Puerto Vallarta, Jal., Mexico) We had a good breakfast by the water. The view and the food were amazing. They accepted credit card!

Coco's Kitchen (Púlpito 122, Emiliano Zapata, 48399 Puerto Vallarta, JAL, Mexico) This place can help you get some traditional American breakfast. We loved the food and service. Love the decoration there as well.
