Chiang Mai with love

Chiang Mai is one of my favorite city in Thailand. I never get tired to be in Chiang Mai at all.

Jorge and I flew from Bangkok for 1 hour and 15 mins , ticket is only 30$ with lion air. We got lucky that our hotel staff came to pick us up at the airport. She was extremely nice.

Chiang Mai is the is a northern city of Thailand which is rich of culture, old city ,city is full of greenery, mountain, local food and activity.

Where we stay is The Opium Serviced Apartment and Hotel. The Hotel is in the middle of the old town. The room was great with the view also we can walk to the rooftop and enjoy our evening.

Our bed was so soft

The view from our hotel room. It's so green.

Resting on the rooftop. We loved the view so much

5 minutes walk from the hotel, we enjoy local shop and first meal in Chiang mai

We got 3 dishes for only 4$ and the food was so good.

Humble place for lunch

Chiang Mia night Blazaar is a place we love to hang and shop at night. They got live music and local food all around. Jorge had Pad Thai which is bad ! I am Thai I know how it should be like. You guys need took carefully. Check many places before order street food. If the place is pack or empty that mean something. I had Thai BBQ pork which is pretty good !!

The live music. They sing covering in English. Love it.

Our wine , Padthai and BBQ pork and music. The food was so cheap. There was a good vibe.

The night market in Chiang Mai is pretty big be prepare for a long walk .There are tons of stall you can check them out. Please check the prices first so you don't get the highest one. The price for tourist may higher than local.I got my goPro accessory from 600 baht down to 300 baht I believe the market sell everything you looking for, especially local handmade goods ,handmade souvenir also fake famous brand goods.

I sill have a feeling this market is touristy and pricey. It might be hard for bargaining. The shop that show the prices is better than unknown. The market can be pack during the weekend. We got there around 10 pm. IT wasn't that pack. Overall it is fun to experience the market even you don't get anything. We fell in love with Chiang Mai at the fist night.
