2 days 1 night, Miami trip.

Winter in Chicago can be brutal to keep you inside the whole day. Miami is the gateway to escape. Here we go Miami! Check it out where to go , where to stay and where to eat.

Stop at Bayside 401 Biscayne Blvd, R106, Miami, FL 33132-1977

We stop by for a quick picture and check the beautiful view of the bay. The weather was great.

South Beach 12th Street, Miami Beach, FL 33139 The Gay-friendly area is around the 12th street beach. You can find a rainbow flag on the lifeguard station. The water is clear. The view is beautiful. Your eyes will be sore after viewing all the candy on the beach! By the time we got to the beach was cloudy. We can feel the beach is chilly around 73F and windy.

Walk around Ocean drive

Love the vibe of Ocean drive. The restaurant and bars will tempt you to sit down with the view. Host and hostess are beautiful, friendly and inviting you to sit down. Drink specials can be pricey. (65$ margarita on a big Glasses to share or start with 15$ drink) Washington street is cheaper deals for drink and food.We prefer to walk around for sightseeing, taking picture and eyes candy.

Espanola Way Between 14th and 15th Streets from Washington to Jefferson Aves., Miami Beach, FL Española Way is a historic Spanish village featuring one-of-a-kind products and collectibles, art galleries and restaurants. Really nice and charming street with all the lights and restaurants. Pretty good for a romantic walk and dinner! Plenty of Italian restaurants. Worth a visit

Where to get morning coffee 760 Ocean Dr, Miami Beach, FL 33139 Cozy, Pinocchio-inspired cafe serving Italian coffees & pastries, plus panini & salads. Our coffee and croissant were just perfect for the morning. Cafe Pinocchio is a must.

Pizza for lunch Across Espanola way, Check this little pizza place out Block Pizza Deli 1447 Washington Ave, Miami Beach, FL 33139 The lunch special is 8$. We love this local pizza place. The Cheese stick is a must to try. Pizza is fresh and fast also friendly staff.

Visit World Famous house of Mac for Dinner 1216 Washington Ave Miami Beach, FL 33139 We found this place on Yelp( 5$ of first delivery). I ordered Seafood lover Mac and cheese and Blueberry Mule to drink . Jorge ordered Philly Mac and Cheese and Lemon verbena mule. OMG, I love them so much. The cheese is melted in my month and Lobster was just right. The service from our server was friendly .Can not be missed!

Wynwood wall 2520 NW 2nd Ave, Miami, FL 33127-4306 Definitely a must see. Recommended by a friend that lived in Miami. I really had no idea what it was all about but she said we needed to go - so we did! Fantastic Graffiti Art. All the shops and building have a wonderful painting and arts.It is definitely interesting and worth going to see.

Little Havana Little Havana is Miami’s vibrant Cuban heart, with Latin American art galleries and busy restaurants. Cafes with walk-up windows sell Cuban coffee to cigar-smoking patrons. On Calle Ocho (SW 8th Street), locals discuss politics over dominoes at Maximo Gomez Park, dubbed Domino Park by locals. The historic Tower Theater screens independent and revival films, while the area's clubs host live Latin music. Jorge didn't want to go at first but I made him go. Finally, we found it really interesting with music, local shops, drink special and graffiti art. We had a really good time on that little Havana. Must try!

Where to stay Hotel Shelly 844 COLLINS AVENUE MIAMI BEACH, FL 33139 This hotel is functional and has everything you need for a night. The checking in process was busy across the street at Chesterfield Hotel & Suites. The location is great close to the beach, restaurant, bars, shops and in the middle of South-beach. The Hotel offers free drinks at 6 pm to 7 pm. Gin and tonic were strong. You can enjoy all the amenities at the South Beach group hotel. We love the beach town they offer.

Where to park Parking can be frustrated. We download Parkwhiz ( save 5$ first booking) and Spothero( 7$ off first time) to find a deal. 20$ overnight with muti enter.

Car rental Payless offers us 9$ a day but the tax and fee end up 2 days rental around 30$. Check more car rental deal

We love spending time in Miami. The beach, people, shops, music, drinks, food and multicultural are so charming. I can not wait for this coming up summer to enjoy them again.
